Hi there! You know what I learned inside of professional baseball? It’s simply this; Championships are not won by accident. They are won from thousands of small adjustments made by everyone on the team.
So, I decided to study this in order to teach it to players, coaches, moms and dads.
I am a high-performance, championship learning specialist who is passionate about showing people how to make great adjustments both inside and outside of professional sports. Unlocking the secret of adjustments in a highly competitive environment has been a game changer for me and now I am excited to share it with you.
Whether your idea of a championship win is in sports, at work, or in your home, it's time to hit a home run. After all, there's no base like home.
In pro baseball, coaches don’t have a lot of years to develop someone. Players need to learn fast and million-dollar players know that. That’s why I created the PAR test of adjustment and the MDA program.
This PAR test informs a person of their natural adjustment pattern. Adjustment patterns show us how we handle new situations, information and tasks. When done well, confidence is a natural by product. If not, anxiety and lackluster performance can take over. My goal was not only to help people know their adjustment pattern, but teach them how to strengthen it with the MDA program so they can win. When individuals are armed with education that helps them win, their teams win too.
"Finding Home" is a film showcasing the struggles that young, professional Latin baseball players go through in order to make it to the big leagues of baseball. It follows several international players from the Cubs organization on their journey from their native country to "find home" in the United States and on the big stage of MLB. From finding apartments, to learning English to building families, this film takes the person behind the scenes to see what it looks like for a young adult from another country to mature inside of the very public world of professional baseball.
Everyone has desires placed on their hearts. Whether it’s succeeding at work, losing weight, completing education, or improving key relationships, the list goes on and on. To fulfill these desires, we tend to employ familiar tools that have worked for us in the past. But then life throws us a curveball—a job loss, relationship troubles, or a global pandemic—and we get stuck. We have to search for new ways and new tools to adjust to these changes.
